Affiliates promote the products and services of online merchants for
a commission and choose site appropriate programs that will provide
value their visitors.
Reporting
The BFAST Partner Gateway offers affiliates a consolidated, in-depth
collection of merchant reports for all the programs to which they
belong.
Affiliates use reports to quickly and easily monitor performance
across all of their merchant programs, as well as review statistics
for individual merchants.
Cross-merchant transaction reports, detailed payment information,
payment history, and current commission rates are available for
individual merchants,
making it easy for affiliates to understand how much and how often
they are getting paid.
Payment
Each BFAST merchant manages and operates its own program, so each
merchant may have different payment criteria and procedures. As a
affiliate,
when you accept the agreement terms of each merchant, you also
accept that merchant's terms for payment minimum, payment frequency,
and payment
processing. Depending on the merchant, the merchant may issue its
own payments, Commission Junction may process checks for the
merchant, or the merchant
may participate in the BFAST 1-Check program. If you earn
commissions from merchants that participate in the 1-Check program,
you will receive a single check
each month that includes commissions earned from the participating
merchants, provided your combined earnings meet the 1-Check payment
minimum.
Until a affiliate's account balance reaches the payment minimum,
Commission Junction rolls over the previous month's earnings into
the following month.
Joining
Affiliates may create an account and join merchants in the BFAST
Partner Gateway from the BFAST Partner Gateway page.
As a affiliate, once you have placed ads on your site, you can
monitor your transactions in the Partner Gateway.
For the best results, you need to have steady traffic to your Web
site, and you need to test different links and merchant programs
to find the ones that are best suited to your site and your
audience.
